Cassius Palacio (he/him) is a proud Chicagoan and Los Angeles transplant (3rd-Year Student @ USC School of Architecture). With a passion for the entertainment industry he has been credited on two students films as the production designer. Additionally, he was awarded eight scholarships from various groups that advance equitable efforts in design.
In addition to his collegiate pursuits, he was the founding Director of Development for Architecture + Advocacy, a student-run social impact start-up, awarded 501(c)(3) status in 2023, that works to combat spatial injustice in South Los Angeles County's neighborhoods. He led his team to reinvest over $50,000 with successful grants and donors, in the span of three years.
Cassius has always been interested in exploring the intersectionality of architecture in other industries. He aspires to transcend conventional boundaries by fusing architectural prowess, creative vision, and diverse influences, viewing design as a dynamic intersection. Each project becomes a universal opportunity to redefine and elevate narrative through a synthesis of architecture, photography, and mixed media. Currently, he is pursuing interests in Unreal Engine and Immersive Reality.
